OMG I adore this buggy. That’s it. It’s just so pretty.
I don’t gush about products because we’ve been lucky enough to receive it to review, I gush about things when they stop you looking like a chavvy mum clippety clopping down the street with a pushchair. I think it’s really hard to look chic with a pushchair, don’t you?!
As regulars will know, I don’t do instruction manuals, so the fact that the Mamas & Papas Sola is a clunk click piece of kit was very much to my liking. The four wheels literally slot in, and then you add the seat – which handily can face either away or towards you – handy if you want to have them facing you and away from the sweetie aisle for example.
This is a hardcore chunky buggy, there is nothing flimsy about it. The front wheels swivel though so it’s really light and easy to manoeuvre; I’ve managed not to take anyone’s ankles out yet which is an achievement.
The basket underneath is huge and easy to get to. No point having one if you can’t get a handbag, football and change of clothes into it.
I adore the design on the inside of the hood. Yes a buggy should be functional first and foremost but why they shouldn’t be stylish too is beyond me. So this ticks all of the boxes.
It’s easy to collapse and although big fits easily into our Scenic (yep boring family wagon).
So overall, as you might have guessed, I’m pretty much in love with this buggy. If you’re looking for something that will last you from birth upwards this is the perfect option. Bear is now two and a half and fits perfectly, with an adjustable footrest when needed. The hood comes really far over which is great for snoozing.
It has Made for Mums and Practical Parenting awards and what I’m also excited about is that there’s a carry cot and car seat that you can add – it’s a whole travel system, so as and when we (eventually & hopefully) have a second we can add these two items.
The RRP is £275.00 which may sound a lot, but for the quality and durability is more than worth the investment.
Do you know, I’m even going to give it the Baby Genie loves badge. Haven’t done that for about a year!
