Christmas Gifts for Wine Lovers: The Corkicle

It definitely isn’t too early to start your Christmas shopping.  So here’s a Christmas gift idea for wine lovers or a gift idea for people who like to host parties.

I’m still not totally sold on the name – the Corkcicle; it does lend itself to mispronunciation, especially after you’ve drunk the wine, but it’s a great piece of design.  And the website, Presents for Men is worth a visit too for other ideas; not a site I can say I’d come across before and definitely not limited to gifts for men.

The Corkcicle is a simple idea; a plastic column filled with water which you freeze and then add to your white or rosé wine to keep it cool.  The top is a cork wine stopper. The nice thing about this is that you don’t need a big ice bucket or wine cooler on the table, you can see the label of the bottle and it doesn’t take up lots of room.

At £19.99 it’s not overly cheap but it’s an ingenious gift, and finding different presents to give at Christmas is always tricky so I’d give this the thumbs up.

For the person who likes to enjoy a tipple in total relaxation, why not go all out and add the bath wine glass holder – what a genius idea, it tickled me.  Perfect for an under £10 Secret Santa gift!!!!

This is a sponsored post. We received the Corkcicle from Presents for Men to review. I stick to the bloggers with integrity code to post honest, open reviews.
