How to make drawing for children more fun

Our four year old is into the usual things – rough and tumble, tough and fumble as he calls it (!), swimming, adventures, going to the park, Lego, anything destructive…
He’s really not into drawing, crafts or anything creative that requires him to sit still for any length of time. Which is a shame because I love all that stuff.
So I tried something new today. I started each drawing with the outline of something he could add to. He happily sat (with a few Maoam sweets for added encouragement I admit), and drew three (really good *proud parent*) pictures.
It’s worth a try if you would like your children to sit and draw from time to time.
