The Gallery week 18 – Our first little holiday

It was an absolute pleasure to meet Tara at Cybermummy, so I couldn’t miss this weeks gallery over at Sticky Fingers.

This was taken at the beach in Weston-Super-Mare.

We decided to take an impromptu holiday, down to the coast for the weekend.

My Grandma lives in Somerset so we called her, asked if we could come down, and bobs your uncle, a holiday in the making.

She happened to be away visiting family at the time, in France, but we were welcome to house sit, and made a roast for her and my uncle (Frank not Bob) when they returned on the Sunday evening.

We had a brilliant weekend, despite hourly poo’s and a trip home half-naked having run out of clean clothes (the bear, not me).

We ate fish and chips on the beach in the glorious sunshine.

We introduced the bear to donkeys.

We splodged Mr Whippy icecream on each others noses.

We bought a bucket and spade.

We went to the wildlife park.

We watched trash on my Grandma’s postage stamp sized TV.

And all was good with the world.
