The Monday Review: Munchkin Snack Catcher

Some things make our lives easier. Fact.  This is one of them.

The bear just turned two and the weekly food shop has rapidly turned from a good old gossip with mum, me, the bear and two trolleys, to all out war.

Doesn’t want to be in the trolley, doesn’t want to walk.  Doesn’t want to use the quick shop scanner, doesn’t want to hold the shopping list.

The Snack Catcher is one of those little godsends that comes under the category called ‘distraction’.

Today ours was filled with raisins and bran flakes.  Other days it’s bits of apple.  It doesn’t matter – all I care about is the fact that it has two handles and nothing falls out if you turn it upside-down.

The top is removable and made up of soft rubber, with slits dissecting it like a pizza so you can easily get your hand in and out to retrieve a handful of raisins (if we have to resort to sweets I’ll be in trouble – bear+e numbers+public places do not go well).

My only gripe and it’s not even a gripe, is that I’d love blue for boys and pink for girls (don’t shout at me), it’s just that when we hopefully add another to our family, I’d love to be able to buy it in different colours to tell them apart – ok they can be orange and yellow then.

RRP £3.49 from Wilkinsons and Asda.
