A small selection of the best books on our shelves at the moment.

1. Pond Goose by Caroline Jayne Church- a lovely simple tale (farm stories are always a hit) about thinking smart

2. Moo-Cow Kung-Fu-Cow by Nick Sharratt – perfectly silly – a feel good book for child and parent alike.

3. Dirty Birtie by David Roberts- one for the boys, who doesn’t like a bogie story?

4. Polly Wally by Kali Stileman- a gorgeous follow up to Peely Wally with bug-revealing leaves at the end

5. The Hairy Book by Babette Cole – another one for boys; hair, hair everywhere!

6. Norman the Slug with the Silly Shell by Sue Hendra – a snail with a doughnut for a shell?  It’s going to make you smile.

7. Shark in the Park! by Nick Sharratt – one for early readers to start recognising words from due to the simple repetition.

8. Socks by Nick Sharratt and Elizabeth Lindsay – fantastic word play great for quality time just before bed.

This is partially a sponsored post – we were very lucky to be sent Socks to review, and Polly Wally as a thank you when Bear dressed as Peely Wally for World Book Day! I stick to the Bloggers with Integrity Code to post honest, open reviews.
